This Is Our Story
So it all began with a typical day in the corporate world, where in the race to fight with challenges and trying to prove yourself, you leave a little room for self-care. Each day felt like a battle to me and I knew something is not right both internally and externally. It became clear that my mind needed a break—a way to relax, declutter, and heal from the chaos of daily life.
In the midst of this struggle, I found my solace in art. Just ten minutes of doodling would help me disconnect, offering a moment of peace and clarity. I realized that art, even in its simplest form, is a powerful tool for mental wellness.
After having written and worked extensively on mental health stories, I already knew the therapeutic benefits of art, but experiencing it firsthand gave me a deeper understanding of its potential. It gave me a mental clarity I always desired.
This was not it, this realization sparked a mission: to help others discover this healing power for themselves and here I came up with the idea of MindOnook, creating a cosy corner for everyone to relax, find their peace and grow without having a fear of being judged.
I began researching and speaking with psychologists to shape my idea and a brand dedicated to providing people with tools for mental wellness and self-care through art therapy-inspired kits.
Each kit is designed to give individuals a moment of healing, a chance to relax, and an opportunity to reconnect with themselves through creativity.
