Thought behind MindOnook

Mental health is increasingly recognised as just as important as physical health. As awareness grows, so does the search for effective ways to relax and care for our minds amidst the chaos of life.

With this need in mind, we created Mindonook, a brand dedicated entirely to mental health wellness. The name "Mindonook" combines "mind" and "nook," suggesting a comfortable and cozy place for the mind to relax.

Mindonook merges mental health care with art therapy, emphasizing the healing power of art. The term "art therapy" was coined in 1942 by British artist Adrian Hill, who discovered the healthful benefits of painting and drawing while recovering from tuberculosis. In the 1940s, several mental health professionals began to describe their work with patients as "art therapy." These early practitioners were often educated in other disciplines and supervised by psychiatrists, psychologists, or other mental health care professionals.

Mindonook's products are designed to help manage mental health challenges through creative activities that promote healing when practiced regularly. Our specially designed kits and other products are easy to incorporate into busy routines. We also have a section dedicated to kids, encouraging them to engage in screen-free activities that foster emotional balance and self-awareness during their formative years.

If you're looking to transform your mental health, Mindonook's products are worth a try.
